Exterior Trim · PVC, AZEK & Aluminum

Sharp trim around every window and door, without tearing off your siding.

NJ Vinyl Siding measures, cuts, and installs custom PVC, AZEK, and aluminum trim on site, one crew, one visit. No catalog units shipped from a factory. We build the piece to fit your opening, then flash and seal it so water goes where it belongs. Serving Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Union, Morris, and Hudson counties since 2003.

    Custom trim on every job

New trim can go on top of what's already there.

Most homes do not need a full siding tear-off to fix tired, rotted, or mismatched trim. NJ Vinyl Siding installs PVC, AZEK, and aluminum trim directly over existing vinyl, aluminum, or Hardie siding. We tie the new trim into your current J-channel and flashing, so the windows, doors, and garage openings get a clean, finished edge without touching the field of siding around them.

This retrofit approach is why so many Bergen and Passaic County homeowners call us for trim alone, not a full remodel. If your siding is sound but the trim around it looks dated, cracked, or waterlogged, that is a trim job, not a siding job.

Good for: faded wood trim, cracked vinyl J-channel, rotted sills, mismatched capping from a past repair.

Every piece is cut for your opening, not pulled off a shelf.

Some trim companies sell factory-welded corner units, pre-formed to standard sizes and shipped to the job site in boxes. NJ Vinyl Siding does not work that way. Our crew brings raw PVC, AZEK, and aluminum coil to your house, measures each window, door, and corner by hand, and cuts and fastens every piece on site.

That difference shows up in the fit. A catalog unit is built for an average opening; your windows are not average. When one crew measures, cuts, and installs the same day, there is no handoff between a measuring team and an installation team, and no guesswork about what size box to order. Fewer hands on the job means fewer chances for a gap, a short return, or a piece that does not sit flush against your siding.

    • Measured on site at your actual openings, not a catalog size chart
    • Cut and fastened by the crew that measured it, same visit
    • Built to work with your existing flashing and J-channel
    • AZEK Trim and CertainTeed Restoration Millwork, both installed correctly for the brand
    • No shipping delays waiting on a pre-built unit

    Trim Budget Ladder

Pick where PVC goes and where aluminum handles the rest.

Not every side of your house needs the same trim. Most homeowners put their money where it shows, the front of the house, what neighbors see from the curb, and use aluminum capping on the back and sides. We do this every week in Bergen County. It is a smart plan, not a shortcut.

    Tier 1

    Aluminum Capping

What's included: Coil-wrapped aluminum trim at every window, door, and corner, all the way around the house

Who it's for: Homeowners with sound wood trim underneath and the tightest budget

    Tier 2

    PVC Front, Aluminum Elsewhere

What's included: PVC or AZEK trim on the front of the house and main entry, aluminum capping on the back and sides

Who it's for: The most common choice. Puts the higher-end material where it is seen from the street, keeps cost down on the back and sides

    Tier 3

    Full Perimeter PVC/AZEK

What's included: PVC or AZEK trim at every opening and corner, front, back, and both sides

Who it's for: Full siding replacements and homes where every side gets seen, corner lots, wide driveways, no-rot priority

Not sure which tier fits your house? Tell us which sides face the street and we will suggest a plan before you commit to anything.

Cellular PVC trim that does not rot, swell, or need repainting every few years.

NJ Vinyl Siding installs cellular PVC trim, including AZEK Trim and CertainTeed Restoration Millwork, around windows, doors, and garage openings. Both are separate manufacturer brands and we name them correctly on your quote. PVC handles NJ freeze-thaw winters without the rot, cracking, or paint cycle that wood trim needs.

We build out full window and door surrounds using the same moulding profiles homeowners ask for by name: sill and sill nose at the bottom of the window, apron below the sill, and crosshead detail across the top for a finished, built-up look. Every piece is cut to your window's exact width and height, then sealed and flashed so water sheds away from the opening instead of behind it.

    • AZEK Trim and CertainTeed Restoration Millwork, cellular PVC, no rot or termite damage
    • Window surrounds: sill, sill nose, apron, crosshead, and side casing
    • Door casing for entry doors, garage door trim, and door surrounds
    • Decorative mouldings, crossheads and band boards, on request

Budget-friendly capping for windows, doors, fascia, and the whole house.

Aluminum trim is core to what we do, and plenty of homeowners only want new casing around their windows and doors, nothing more. We wrap existing wood trim in coil aluminum at windows, entry doors, garage doors, and fascia boards, sealed tight so water cannot get behind it. When the wood underneath is sound, aluminum capping is a valid, lasting choice, not a downgrade.

Aluminum capping also covers the full house perimeter for homeowners who want one consistent trim color without the cost of PVC everywhere. It is the base tier of the Trim Budget Ladder and pairs naturally with PVC on the front for homeowners who want to spend where it shows.

    When to choose aluminum

    • The wood trim underneath is still solid, just faded or worn
    • You want the whole house wrapped in one visit at a lower cost
    • You are pairing it with PVC on the front for a mixed budget plan
    • Fascia and soffit lines need a clean cap, not a full rebuild

Trim for every opening on your house.

    • Window trim and window casing, all styles and sizes
    • Window surrounds: sill, sill nose, apron, crosshead
    • Entry door casing and door surrounds
    • Garage door trim and garage door moulding
    • Fascia wrap and soffit trim along the roofline
    • Corner posts and column wraps
    • Full-perimeter aluminum capping
    • Retrofit trim over existing vinyl, aluminum, or Hardie siding

One crew, from measurement to final seal.

    1. 1

      We measure on site.

Every window, door, and garage opening gets measured by hand at your house, not from a plan set or catalog chart.

    2. 2

      We check the flashing first.

Before any trim goes up, we confirm the flashing and J-channel underneath are sound or replace what is not.

    3. 3

      We cut on site.

PVC, AZEK, and aluminum coil are cut to your exact opening sizes, same crew, same day.

    4. 4

      We install and fasten.

Trim is screwed and fastened into place, tied into your existing siding and flashing for a finished edge.

    5. 5

      We seal every joint.

Corners, joints, and transitions get sealed so water sheds away from the opening.

    6. 6

We walk the job with you.

Before we leave, we walk the house together so you can see every opening up close.
