Window replacement for NJ homes
The last caulk job bought
you one winter.
New windows buy 30.
Serving New Jersey. Across North Jersey, the Jersey Shore, and statewide exterior projects. NJ Vinyl Siding installs replacement and new construction windows: insulated glass, custom aluminum capping, and wall flashing in the right order, at a written fixed price. Bilingual team - English and Spanish.
What you get
A window contractor who builds each opening into the wall.
North Jersey freeze-thaw cycles punish windows that skip flashing, aluminum capping, or proper sill pan detail. NJ Vinyl Siding installs replacement and new construction windows on additions, remodels, and existing openings, and ties each unit into siding when you upgrade the whole exterior. Free on-site estimates, written fixed price, and a bilingual crew for every job.

Full assembly
Glass, frame, capping, flashing. Documented before we cut the opening.
How we build it
Three options that matter in New Jersey winters.
Double-Pane Low-E Glass
Two glass panes with a low-emissivity coating and argon gas fill block heat transfer in both directions. In NJ winters that means no frost at the sill and no ice buildup at the frame. In summer it keeps solar heat out so your AC is not running against the window.
Triple-Pane Insulated Units
A third pane with krypton gas fill gives you noticeably quieter rooms and tighter temperature control. Worth it on west-facing walls, street-facing bedrooms, and any room that runs cold from October through April in North Jersey.
Custom Aluminum Capping at Every Opening
We fabricate aluminum trim capping on-site to close-wrap every window and door opening before and after new panels go on. No raw wood exposed to weather. Flashing order, housewrap overlap, and the cap profile are coordinated so the wall assembly sheds water at the sill and head.
Window styles
Every opening type, flashed and capped.
Double-hung, casement, sliding, bay, or bow: the style changes but sill and head flashing do not. NJ Vinyl Siding installs replacement and new construction units, documents every opening, and fabricates aluminum capping on-site so water drains off the wall, not into it.
Double-Hung
Two sashes slide vertically for easy cleaning and ventilation control. The most common replacement style on North Jersey colonials and capes. NJ Vinyl Siding flashes the sill pan, runs head tape, and caps every jamb before trim goes on.
Casement
Side-hinged sashes crank open for full ventilation and a tight compression seal when closed. Works well on kitchens, baths, and hard-to-reach spots. We set the unit plumb and cap the exterior to match your siding profile.
Sliding
Horizontal sashes glide on stainless rollers for wide views with less swing space inside. Common on ranches and split-levels. NJ Vinyl Siding checks the track, sill pan, and head flashing so water drains away from the wall.
Bay Windows
Three-panel projections add light and interior space at the front or side elevation. Bay units need a built-out sill, head flashing, and roof cap detail. We fabricate aluminum capping on-site to close every joint at the wall.
Bow Windows
Gentle curved projections with four or more panels for a softer street-facing look. Bow windows share the same flashing rules as bays: sill pan first, head cap second, siding or trim last. We document each angle before the unit goes in.
Picture Windows
Fixed glass units with no operable sash, sized for views and light on stair landings, great rooms, and rear walls. Picture windows need the same sill pan and head flashing as operable units. NJ Vinyl Siding caps the exterior and ties trim into siding at every jamb.
Brands and supply
Contractor lines or units you buy at Home Depot or Lowe's.
We are not an authorized dealer for any retail chain. We commonly spec Pella, Andersen, Marvin, Harvey, and Simonton, plus customer-supplied units. Manufacturer and model are named on your written proposal.
Contractor-spec windows
NJ Vinyl Siding measures every opening, recommends full-frame vs insert, and orders through distributor lines. Manufacturer and model are named on your written proposal. Best for whole-home replacements, HOA submittals, and siding bundles.
Home Depot or Lowe's supplied
We install customer-purchased units when sizing fits the opening. We are not a Home Depot or Lowe's dealer or authorized store installer. Install includes sill pan, head flashing, and aluminum capping on a fixed-price proposal. Verify return policies before you buy.
Glass and efficiency
Energy Star, Low-E, and triple-pane for NJ winters.
Glass package matters as much as frame material. We spec packages per opening based on exposure, street noise, and budget.
- Energy Star certified glass packages with Low-E coatings
- Double-pane standard; triple-pane upgrades on street-facing rooms
- Argon fill and warm-edge spacers on qualifying units
- Glass spec named per opening on your written proposal
Heard this before?
Real window worries. Straight answers.
“We got new windows last year but the frame gap was never sealed. Drafts are still just as bad.”
We close-wrap every opening with flashing tape and aluminum capping before any panel goes back on. The gap at the frame is gone, not painted over. NJ Vinyl Siding documents each opening with photos before and after.
“One company did the siding, another did the windows, and the flashing at the wall never lined up.”
We sequence windows with siding on one written schedule. Housewrap overlap, flashing order, and aluminum trim are coordinated by the same crew so the wall assembly sheds water from the head flashing down to the sill.
“I have no idea if I need full frame replacement or just new sashes.”
We measure and photograph every opening during the estimate. Rotten sill plates, failed flashing, or damaged frames get flagged with photos before you commit to anything. You see the condition before we quote the fix.

Windows + siding combos
One schedule for windows, siding, and trim.
Flashing order and aluminum capping fail when two separate crews do not talk to each other. We sequence windows before siding so housewrap laps correctly at every head and jamb. See how a Wayne, NJ full exterior came together with coordinated windows and board-and-batten siding.

Every job
Flashed. Capped. Caulked. Written timeline upfront.

Measurement to final walkthrough.
On-site measurement
We measure every opening, photograph the sill, head, and jamb condition, and note any flashing or housewrap gaps. You get plain-language notes in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.

Homeowner Stories
What NJ homeowners say.
“We had drafts around 6 windows in the front of the house even with new weatherstripping. NJ Vinyl Siding found the flashing gap at the head of each frame during the estimate - the prior installer had not run the housewrap over the head properly. Fixed it all in the replacement. No drafts the first fall.”
“Bundling windows with the siding was the right call. One crew sequenced both so the flashing worked correctly. I didn't have to coordinate two contractors.”
Ray M. · Fort Lee, NJ
“Street noise was the issue. Triple-pane on the two street-facing windows made a noticeable difference. Worth the upgrade on those specific openings.”
Sandra C. · Teaneck, NJ
