Tilt Museum

Tilt Museum

TiLT, the museum, is a unique experience that merges interactive pop-ups with traditional art museums. The museum is located at 1 American Dream Wy, East Rutherford, NJ 07073.  TiLT was created by urban artist Tracy Lee Stum, who is also a former Guiness World Record holder for his street painting. She has also incorporated optical illusions into her artworks. The exhibits at TiLT allow visitors to get inside the paintings and see what happens. You will also be able to take pictures, and you can even star in a video game.

TiLT Museum is a non-traditional museum that has a lot to offer for the whole family. Guests can take photographs and play with the different optical illusions that are in the displays. There is also a shop where visitors can buy Tilt merchandise. Visitors can also book a workshop at the museum. It is open to all ages, and guests can enjoy guided tours of the museum.

Visitors should be aware that they are not allowed to take drinks or food with them in the museum. If you plan on going to the museum for a party, you will need to arrange the date well in advance. In addition, you will need to bring a valid ID for admission. Children aged 0-2 years can enter for free. Those who are interested in purchasing a ticket to the museum can visit the website to order one.

Visitors can purchase tickets online to attend the museum, and you can also take advantage of discounts for seniors, veterans, and the military. Lastly, you can also book a room at the museum. This is a completely unique experience, and you will definitely want to visit it.

Tracy Stum’s amazing space is filled with interactive 3D optical illusions that are a lot of fun to explore. You will be able to experience life-size murals, such as the Statue of Liberty, as well as a room called “The Illusion Room” that turns two visitors into specimens. Several of the installations are designed for climbers, while others are meant for the youngest of children. Another installation is a cabinet of curiosities, which is home to some strange objects, including a mirror.

Visitors should expect to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour in the TiLT Museum. However, you can make the visit shorter or longer if you wish. Depending on your schedule, you can choose to have a guided tour or opt for a self-guided tour. Also, you can attend workshops and special events at the museum. Additional info

The first work of art that you will see at the museum is a 3-D painting of a flying hot dog. Visitors are then able to stand on the Lady Liberty, which is painted sideways. After that, they can start exploring the rest of the artwork.

While you are at the museum, you can also take photos of yourself standing in the painting. However, you may need to crop your picture, as the walls are very low. You will also need to find a good angle for your photo. More info
