James A McFaul Environmental Center in Wyckoff, NJ is an interactive learning center and wildlife sanctuary. It is located at 150 Crescent Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.  This park is one of the many excellent outdoor attractions in the Bergen County Park system. It features a pond, a mini zoo, and an impressive hiking trail. The center also offers a variety of educational programs, workshops, and events.

The JA McFaul park is named after a long time Bergen County Parks executive. It is situated on 81 acres of land in the town of Wyckoff, NJ. Along with the impressive pond, there is a mini zoo and a nifty gazebo. As a result, it is the perfect place for a family outing or a quiet picnic.

Originally a pig farm, the JA McFaul park has come a long way. Today, this county-operated facility boasts a pond, nature trail, and a zoo. Some animals are kept in the office, while others roam free in the outskirts. In addition to the usual suspects, the center also has a greenhouse where they grow vegetables and herbs. Besides the obvious, the park is home to a couple of bird feeders, an art exhibit, and a sustainability class.

There are plenty of opportunities to see local wildlife, and the staff is very knowledgeable.
